Monika Andrae is an award-winning online specialist. She’s also on a mission: to bring creativity back into the world of photography, that is getting more and more technical by the day. She does that for example on her podcast Monis Motivklingel (in German). Together with Chris Marquardt she runs the Absolut Analog workshops and has repeatedly accompanied photographers to Mt. Everest.

Chris Marquardt is a photographer, traveler and instructor. He is based in Germany and hosts the award-winning podcasts Photography Tips from the Top Floor and Happy Shooting. Chris loves experimentation and he can be seen shooting with almost any format and technology that he can get his hands on, including small sensor cameras, full frame DSLRs, analog medium format and even 4×5″ large format film cameras. His workshops cover anything from beginner questions to advanced topics such as perception and psychology in photography. His ebook “1 Hour 1000 Pics” helps photographers conquer the thousands of pictures that have accumulated on their hard drives. Chris has been teaching international photo workshops in Germany, the UK, the USA and Canada. He has taken photographers on the highest photo workshop in the world to all three Mt. Everest base camps. In the last years, Chris Marquardt has extended his photo workshops to also include international photo tours to locations like Japan, Iceland, India, Ireland and Ethiopia.
